Summary: We stayed at this house for a baseball tournament at Cooperstown. It was one of the only places we could find that allowed dogs. The house was set up nicely for our dog with a mat for her food and water, dog bed and even a backyard leash for the dog. We were not happy with the distance it took to get to Dreams Park, although it was around 20 miles it took at least 30 minutes without traffic lights. It was also 30 minutes to go to a grocery store or to a restaurant. The house itself was dark inside. It was HOT, we expected that there would not be central a/c but the window unit was on the other side of the house. The bedrooms had small windows and we had to leave the doors open in attempt to get some air from the window unit, didn’t work. There was one fan, we gave it to our kids. Lastly but probably most importantly, they had just had a new well put it a month ago. When we arrived the water was dark brown, we contacted the owner and they said to run the water. My husband had to work that day so he stayed home and ran the water all day. It did not do much to alleviate the situation. We contacted the owner and encouraged him to call the well company. We arrived on a Sunday, the well company came on Tuesday. They never told us how long it would take to fix, after 2 hours, my husband asked and was told it would take all day. We had not showered since Sunday and had to get to a baseball game. We quickly grabbed clothes and drove 40 min to a teammates house to shower.
